Flip for Function: Where Science Meets Heart
Founded on the belief that every child deserves to experience pride in their achievements, we've transformed adaptive gymnastics by combining pediatric occupational therapy expertise with truly child-led programming.
Our Difference is Science-Backed While traditional gymnastics programs follow one-size-fits-all approaches, we're guided by evidence-based occupational therapy principles. Every movement, every activity, every moment is designed through the lens of child development, sensory processing, and individual neurological needs.
Where Others See Limitations, We See Possibilities We don't minimize disabilities or focus solely on abilities - we celebrate the whole child. This honest, holistic approach allows us to create programming that truly serves each individual, building not just physical skills but genuine self-confidence that translates far beyond our gym walls.
Child-Led Means Child-Empowered Your child isn't fitting into our program - our program adapts to fit your child. Every session responds to their interests, energy levels, sensory needs, and goals. This isn't just personalization - it's empowerment.

Relationship & Connection First
Our first priority is our relationship with you and your child. We create a safe place for your child to belong and explore their capabilities using child led activities and weekly themes to promote play, engagement and support developmentally appropriate progressions.
Experienced & Affirming Coaches & Therapists
We have a combined 30+ years experience in OT and gymnastics coaching. We hire experienced therapists and coaches who are inherently kind to children and truly invested in their well being. Our therapists & coaches have unique skill sets to meet your child where they are and participate in extensive training through Flip for Function. All therapists and coaches are skilled at developing rapport and designing fun, exciting sessions to address the underlying challenges that may be impacting participation, while improving your child’s self esteem.
Inclusive Athletic Opportunities
The core of our program is the use of adaptive sports to promote strength and success in all areas of life. Through athletics, children improve gross + fine motor skills, sensory processing, problem solving, social skills, fitness and so much more. Being in the gym promotes a sense of belonging and achievement which carries over to other parts of the child’s life.

What People Are Saying
What People Are Saying
“Chasity and her team are such a devoted and uplifting group! We have been doing 1:1 Gymnastics training for over a year and I cannot rave enough about the amazing experience, and confidence it has given my baby girl! I highly recommend Flip For Function to anyone who is interested in OT or 1:1 Coaching! Thank you so much for creating such an amazing community!”
“Any class I’ve ever enrolled him in, I’ve constantly had to apologize to obviously annoyed instructors for him not sitting still or listening perfectly or even his oral seeking behaviors. I’ve wanted him to be involved but those experiences are so stressful for me. Yesterday was such a blessing to be with therapists who understand and love him and meet him where he is while pushing his abilities at the same time. Thank you thank you for the opportunity. I’m so thankful our paths crossed.”
“I was thrilled the last time I took my son to the park, because he climbed the hill and started doing log rolls just like he learned in gymnastics! It was wonderful to see him playing like a regular kid.”
“We have loved our experience with Chasity at F4F! It was profound for my child to be able to participate in a gymnastics setting while impossible for be in any type of traditional class setting due to her sensory issues, slow processing and low muscle tone. It was amazing to watch her progress in strengthening, coordination and overall confidence. Chasity was professional, kind and patient with a child who avoids movement and has many vestibular challenges. I would highly recommend!”
“I was brought to tears because I felt like we had found something really special. You have provided a safe place for our son to play and learn and grow. You understand him and have the tools to help him and that is something we haven’t been around much. To have a place to bring him that provides him great joy yet so much opportunity to develop his delays, is truly a blessing and I am so thankful for that”
“My son first started at a Flip for Function camp, and he absolutely LOVED it! So much so that he wanted to do weekly classes. His confidence has improved so much in addition to his self control. Gymnastics is his favorite activity in his entire week, and it’s what he looks forward to every week.”
